Deputy proposes training program against violence – 06/27/2026 – Panel

The state deputy presented a bill that creates a permanent training program for employees and professionals in public and private schools in São Paulo to act in the face of dangerous situations.

The project authorizes the state government to implement the program and prepare professionals, such as teachers, inspectors and school directors for cases of invasion, attacks, fires, robberies, accidents and other events.

Intended for employees of the security forces and school employees, the courses must be taught by higher education institutions and in accordance with the guidelines of the National System for Monitoring and Combating Schools (Snave), of the Ministry of Education, predicts the deputy.

“Recent episodes of attacks in schools have exposed structural and human vulnerabilities and put the lives of children, adolescents, teachers, staff and the school community in general at risk”, says Zimbaldi.

“The idea is to prepare those who work in schools to act quickly, organized and safely in the face of extreme situations”, argues the deputy, who is also the author of a project that foresees the installation of a panic button in schools.
