Norway and Brazil face each other next Sunday (05), at 5pm, at the MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, in the United States
Norway star Earling Haaland is not confident in the Norwegian team’s victory against Brazil. In a post-game interview, which guaranteed the team’s classification for the round of 16, the Norwegian star said that the team has little chance against the Canary Islands. “Small possibilities,” he told FIFA. He also highlighted that in the next phase there will be excellent teams.
“We are going to the round of 16; there will be excellent teams. It won’t be easy, we have to be realistic. It will be difficult to advance. It won’t be easy. Playing against Brazil in the round of 16 will be something we will need to deal with”, said the player.
Norway and Brazil face each other next Sunday (05), at 5 pm, at the MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey, in the United States. The Brazilian team secured qualification on Monday (29), after beating Japan 2-1. Norway qualified this Tuesday (30), after beating Ivory Coast 2-1.
Despite the Norwegian star’s distrust about the confrontation against Brazil, in history the Norwegians have the upper hand. The teams faced each other four times, of which Brazil did not win any. There were two 1-1 draws and two victories for Norway. Thus, the Norwegian team is the only one to never lose to the Brazilians.
