Apple spoke, Samsung agrees. The smartphone of the future should be one thing above all: thinner. However, it should not be surprising that this new minimalism has a downside. Finally, a lower volume means that there is less space for the battery. So both the soon expected Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone 17 Air planned for autumn should deliver a significantly lower term than comparable models.
