Tirana – A new parliament was elected in Albania on Sunday. According to the election commission, the first results should be available on Tuesday. The urn course from Sunday is an important mood test on Albania’s path to an EU accession. Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that it will continue the efforts to join the EU in 2030. His most important rival is the right-wing ex-government chief and former President Sali Berisha.
