Anyone who wants to take a classic legal profession in Austria, i.e. want to become a lawyer, notary, judge or prosecutor, must complete the court practice. What was previously known as the “court year” is currently seven months. Legal internships complete various stations in courts and public prosecutors and can also apply for the takeover in the judicial service during this time.
