Moments of anxiety and fear lived in 7-year-old Oaklynn Alexander, who was kidnapped by her 43-year-old father Charles Ryan Alexander from her grandmother’s house.

The audio from 911 is indicative of what the little girl experienced at the hands of her armed father, who threatened to kill her, with the little girl anxiously asking “am I going to heaven?” Finally he fell dead in front of her from the police fire.

As soon as the 43-year-old abducted the minor, he signaled an amber alert and started a chase, with her being forced to burst his car’s tires to stop him.

In the audio, the 43-year-old can be heard threatening to kill his daughter, shouting at the police “I’ll shoot both of us, back off”. The little girl pleads and can be heard repeating “please don’t do it” over and over. With a gun in his hand, Charles asks to speak to the girl’s mother. “I want to talk to her mother. If you’re listening, Ashley, you should have called,” he says.

“Am I going to heaven? I don’t want”

The sound then fades out before Oaklynn asks her father “are we going to heaven?” and he answered “Shall we both go?”. She insists. “Am I going to heaven?” As she realizes what this means, she quickly shouts, “No! I don’t want to go to heaven today.” He replies, “I didn’t want that to happen either, I just wanted to talk to your mother.”

One of the 911 operators tries to calm him down and convince him. “I know you don’t want to hurt (your daughter) and you didn’t want it to happen like this. Let’s not do something we can’t take back.”

The 7-year-old keeps asking if she will go to heaven, repeating “I don’t want to”. Eventually Oaklynn returned safely to her family after witnessing the police kill her father.
