Temporary arrest was decreed after testimony at DHPP; Woman would have transported rifle used in the execution of Ruy Ferraz Fontes
A 25-year-old woman suspected of transporting the rifle used in the former general of the state of São Paulo, was temporarily arrested at dawn on Thursday (18.Set.2025). Ruy was on Monday (15.Set) in Praia Grande, São Paulo coast.
In a note sent to Poder360the (Secretariat of Public Security of the State of São Paulo), said that, besides the woman, testimonials and family members of 2 other suspects already identified.
According to, the woman left the (police station and protection of the person) already handcuffed and went to IML (Forensic Medical Institute) for the examination of the body of crime. In the statement, she would have claimed to be the girlfriend of 1 of the murder suspects.
According to the SSP, security forces are still mobilized to identify and arrest those involved in the crime.
On the morning of Wednesday (17.Set), were fulfilled at addresses of the capital and Greater São Paulo. The court also issued 2 temporary arrest warrants to the suspects identified to participate in the execution.
In all, 63 civil police officers operate in operations, carried out by the DHPP, the (State Department of Criminal Investigations) and the Praia Grande Section. To date, the investigated have not been located, but objects seized in the places are being expert, according to the SSP.
The governor (Republicans) stated that the priority is to clarify the case and punish the culprits: “We have several lines of research, several possibilities and none can be removed. An already identified person has criminal recurrence, with tickets for theft and drug trafficking. We are working so that those responsible are exemplarily punished by the court, with all the rigor of the law”.
The Secretary of Public Security of São Paulo, (PL), the aid of the PF (Federal Police) in the investigation of the delegate’s murder. “All the state’s apparatus is 100% capable of giving the prompt response necessary”He said.
The minister, Ricardo Lewandowski, told the press that he had called Tarcisio to offer national forces support in the findings.
