María Corina called me and said I deserved to win the Nobel Prize, says Trump

“I’ve been helping her,” Trump added. “They need a lot of help in Venezuela, it’s a basic disaster. So, and you could also say it was granted by 2024 and I was running for office in 2024.”

Trump does not hide his desire to win the prize. A growing number of world leaders have also said he should win the award.

Those calls have grown as his ceasefire plan for Gaza has gained momentum in recent days. However,

This Friday (10), the Nobel Committee announced that the 2025 prize is “for his struggle to achieve a fair and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy”.
