The Hamas hostages are expected to be released in the early hours of Monday (13), Brasília time, a few hours before the deadline given to the radical group. This is part of the first phase of the ceasefire plan agreed with Israel.
In total, 47 hostages from the October 7 attacks remain in the hands of Hamas, at least 20 of which are believed to be alive. Around 1 am this Monday, Brasília time, Hamas delivered a list of hostages that are alive. The names match those provided by Israel.
The hostages that are alive are all men. Of this group, all but one are between 20 and 30 years old. Women, children and men over 50 have been released under previous ceasefire agreements.

Eight were kidnapped from various kibbutzim — small communities — in southern Israel. Three are Israeli soldiers – two were kidnapped from military bases and one from a tank.
