The leader of , (RJ), presented a writ of mandamus to the (Supreme Federal Court) asking for the suspension of voting for that of (-SP). The score was 227 to 170 — 257 votes were needed to impeach her.

The PT member also asks the STF to set a 24-hour deadline for the Chamber Board to comply with the court’s decision and declare the loss of mandate for Zambelli, who is imprisoned in Italy, and also for (PL-RJ). “The president of the Chamber has to obey the court decision. If he had obeyed the court decision, he would not have created this confusion,” said Lindbergh, adding that the PT finds it inconceivable to have “a bench of fugitives in Parliament.”

“It is a scandal that the plenary voted on this. As it is a judicial decision, they [a cúpula da Câmara] have to move away [Zambelli] As determined by the Board, it was not supposed to go to a vote”, he added.

Zambelli twice, once for invading the (National Council of Justice) system, with a sentence of 10 years in prison, and another for illegal possession and illegal restraint using a firearm, with a sentence of 5 years and 3 months in prison in an initial semi-open regime.

The deputy fled the country, passing through Argentina and the United States before landing in Italy. After about two months on the run,.
