Robberies in São Paulo reach lowest mark in history

In the month of December, there was a 27% reduction in occurrences compared to the same month in 2025

The state of São Paulo recorded in the year 2025 its lowest number of robberies, according to the São Paulo Secretary of Public Security (SSP-SP).

They were 161,310 reports of crimes of this nature reporteda drop of 16.7% compared to 2024, when 193,658 cases were recorded.

In December, there was a 27% reduction in occurrences compared to the same month in 2025being the lowest number since 2001. The total number of incidents recorded was 11,779.

“These are numbers that make us proud, because our police work 24 hours a day to protect citizens”, commented the Secretary of Public Security, Osvaldo Nico Gonçalves.
