Trump says government will ‘vigorously’ protect federal buildings

President instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem not to participate in protests in ‘poorly managed Democratic cities’

The President of the United States, Donald Trumpstated this Saturday (31), on Truth Social that instructed the country’s Secretary of Homeland SecurityKristi Noem, a do not participate in protests in “poorly run Democratic cities” unless they ask for help from the federal government.

Trump reinforced that the government’s objective is to protect, “very vigorously,” any and all federal buildings that are under attack by protesters.

“Please be advised that you are instructing ICE and/or the Border Patrol to be very strict in protecting federal government property. There will be no spitting in the faces of our officers, there will be no punching or kicking our car headlights, and there will be no throwing rocks or bricks at our vehicles or at our patriot warriors. If anything, these people will suffer equal or greater consequences,” the Truth Republican said.

Trump also reiterated that state governments have responsibility for state and local construction.

“It’s your obligation to also protect our federal properties, buildings, parks and everything else. We’re there to protect federal properties, just in support, as it’s our local and state responsibility to do so.”
