Residents are included in the so-called Blue Zones (places where people live the longest and enjoy health even as seniors). They are less frequently affected by lifestyle diseases, including: circulatory system or diabetes. Their lifestyle contributes to this, because they take care of themselves by walking a lot, sleeping well and eating sensibly.
Their meals include vegetables, fruit, fish, multigrain bread and olive oil. They also pay attention to what they drink.
