Washington/New York – In the affair surrounding the convicted American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the British politician and former ambassador to the USA, Peter Mandelson, has resigned from his membership in the Labor Party. After new allegations about his connection to Epstein, he wanted to spare the British ruling party “further embarrassment,” the politician wrote in a letter to the party, according to a report by the PA news agency.
