Ewa Wachowicz fries mini donuts in lard and clarified butter. The choice of fat depends on your preferences.

The job is done by homogenized vanilla cheese. Thanks to it, the donuts come out moist and tasty. You can’t do without vinegar, which prevents fat from being absorbed into the dough.

What ingredients do we need to make mini donuts? Here is the list:

  • 300 g of homogenized vanilla cheese;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of soda;
  • 1.5 cups of light spelled flour;
  • grated zest of 1 lemon;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 20 ml of spirit;
  • 4 cubes of lard and 7 tablespoons of clarified butter for frying;
  • powdered sugar for decoration.

To make mini donuts according to Ewa Wachowicz’s recipe, first put the cheese into a bowladd eggs and add vanilla sugar and baking soda. Mix everything until the ingredients are combined.

In the next step, sift the flour into the wet ingredients. Also add grated lemon peel, a pinch of salt and spirit.
