Gyros casseroles are an interesting idea for a quick and nutritious dinner or a quick snack for a party. The recipe uses a hand-made mixture of gyros-flavored spiceswhich you can hide and use later. This will speed up the creation of the meal even more. Your whole family or invited guests will love these easy-to-make, filling and very aromatic toasts.

Ingredients:
- 150 g of toast bread,
- 20 g of butter,
- 100 g zucchini,
- 150 g sera cheddar,
- 150 g chicken,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Spices:
- 3 tablespoons of sweet pepper,
- 1.5 teaspoons of granulated garlic,
- 1.5 teaspoons of coriander,
- 1.5 teaspoons of chili,
- a teaspoon of rosemary,
- a teaspoon of marjoram,
- a teaspoon of thyme,
- 1/2 teaspoon of white mustard,
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric.
How to do it:
1. In a bowl, combine all the spices until you obtain a uniform mixture. The recipe will only need about 1/4 of this mixture. You can seal the rest in a tight ziplock bag and leave it for later.
2. Add olive oil to the spices and mix everything until you obtain a uniform marinade.
3. Wash the meat and dry it with a paper towel. Chop them very finely, into pieces the size of peas or even a little smaller. Put the meat in the marinade and mix well. Set aside in the fridge for at least an hour.
4. Fry the chicken in a dry frying pan until golden. Set aside and cool.
5. Wash the zucchini and grate it on a medium-sized grater. Grate the cheese as well.
6. Spread the butter evenly on the slices of toast. Sprinkle the toast with zucchini and spread the chicken pieces evenly. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese.
7. Place the slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake them for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until brown and the cheese melts. Serve the gyros casseroles warm while they are still crispy.
