The intensified attention on the administration of public schools in Tarauacá and recommended more rigorous measures to guarantee the daily presence of principals in teaching units. The initiative comes from prosecutor Lucas Bruno Iwakami, who reinforced the need for school managers to fully comply with the workload.

The recommendation was directed to the Education Centers of the two municipalities, which now have the responsibility for guiding and effectively monitoring the performance of directors. According to the document, daily presence throughout working hours is an obligation of the position, with exceptions only being permitted in cases of legal leave, as long as they are duly justified.

Among the measures suggested by the Public Ministry is the adoption of more efficient frequency control mechanisms, including, if necessary, the implementation of systems such as an electronic point. The proposal aims to ensure greater transparency and regularity in the functioning of schools, in addition to strengthening educational management.

The prosecutor also warned that any breaches of the working day will not go unnoticed. If unjustified absences are identified, the Education Centers must initiate administrative processes to determine responsibilities and adopt the appropriate measures.

At the end of the recommendation, a period of 15 days was established for the Education Centers of Tarauacá and Jordão to officially express their opinion on compliance with the measure, also informing which concrete actions will be implemented to comply with the Public Ministry’s guidelines.
