Mattighofen – Around three weeks after the motorcycle company KTM announced that it would lay off around 500 employees, the social plan is in place. Both the company and the GPA union confirmed corresponding media reports to the APA. The first terminations should take place the week after next. According to the GPA union, the affected employees should receive additional financial benefits in addition to regular termination rights.
