Vanessa Martins used her Instagram account on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 11, to share with her fans that she decided to undergo a cosmetic procedure.
The businesswoman and digital content creator published a photo of herself with some scars around her eyes and revealed that she had undergone surgery to remove excess skin.
“I had blepharoplasty. I’ve wanted to do it for many years… I always put it off out of fear. But the fear of continuing to look in the mirror and not liking seeing my eyes, which have always been the area of my face that I most admired, taking on a shape I didn’t identify with, was greater”started by sharing.
Vanessa Martins then revealed how her recovery is going: “I had surgery on Friday at 7pm. Five days later, my recovery is incredibly fast. I want to believe that the good habits I have help the body in these moments”realized.
Anxious about the final result, Vanessa Martins took the opportunity to leave a ‘message’ to critics: “And before opinions arise: this decision is about me. Not about you”he stressed.
