Federal deputy Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) was at the Ministry of Defense today to visit Minister José Múcio Monteiro and publicly praised the member of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s government.
After the meeting, the parliamentarian highlighted the minister’s trajectory and profile. “I was at the Ministry of Defense today visiting Minister José Múcio. It is a privilege to be able to listen to someone with such a trajectory and lucidity. A man who offers us, with his conversation, a true life lesson”, he stated.
The deputy also thanked the interlocution that made the meeting possible. “Thank you Adriana for introducing me to the Minister of Defense José Múcio, a rare human being”, he added.
The gesture draws attention due to the political context. Sóstenes is a member and leader of the PL, the main opposition party to the Lula government in the Chamber, while Múcio is considered one of the most skilled ministers in interlocution with Congress.
