In the Michalovce district, a hydrological warning of the first degree against flooding is in effect on Saturday as well. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) reported about it on the website.
“Given the rainfall and the significant rise in water levels in the Ukrainian part of the basin, the water level in Latorica is expected to rise, with the possibility of reaching or exceeding water levels corresponding to the level of flood activity,” clarified the institute.
