Vienna/St. Pölten – In connection with the death of a mentally ill prisoner who committed suicide in the Josefstadt prison (JA) in May 2025, the Falter in its current issue, allegations against the judiciary. The 23-year-old was taken into custody and not transferred to a psychiatric facility, although a social service employee suggested that he be assessed and the parents called for “urgent action” out of concern for their son.
