How was the Grande Rio parade?
The third school to cross Sapucaí, Grande Rio presented a plot in homage to the Brazilian cultural movement that emerged in Recife (PE) in the early 1990s, mixing regional rhythms such as maracatu with rock, hip-hop and electronic music.
Their objective was to “anthropophagize” global and local influences, creating a unique sound and a critical discourse on social inequality and disregard for the environment.
