Gospel singer Rejanne Fogo dies at age 59

Gospel singer Rejane Fogo Puro died this Saturday, 21st, at the age of 59. The information was confirmed by Tatiane, the artist’s daughter. “It is with great deep regret that I announce the death of singer Rejanne Figo Puro. Our condolences to her family and friends”, says the statement. Rejanne was hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro treating pancreatic cancer, which was diagnosed in December 2025.

Born in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, the singer shared her achievements with her followers, including recovering from a brain tumor in 2021. Among her successful songs are: “Continue Dando Glória” and “Mulheres Guerreias”, both gospel songs.
