Fatal Model, an escort company that offered to help Corinthians sign Frenchman Paul Pogba, donated R$200,000 to the fundraiser held by the Gaviões da Fiel fans to pay off the R$700 million debt relating to the construction of Neo Química Arena. The donation is the largest made to date.
According to the mid-afternoon update on the website www.doearenacorinthinas.com.br, the platform used to make payments, the total amount raised at this moment, since the beginning of the campaign, is R$ 31,893. 690.27.
The announcement of Fatal Model’s donation was made in a video released by the company on its social networks. The audiovisual piece features the participation of Corinthians idols Edilson, Vampeta and Marcelinho Carioca, who simulate a video call to publicize the action.
“After expressing our desire to support Corinthians, many fans were in favor of receiving a contribution from Fatal Model. Therefore, as a form of retribution for this receptivity, we chose to donate R$200,000 in this incredible action that has involved Corinthians fans”, said the brand’s communications director, Nina Sag.
This week, the donation platform started to publish the ranking of the biggest donors, but without revealing values. Fatal Model is in first place, followed by influencer Bruno Alexssander, better known as Buzeira, and an anonymous donor.
Among those who appear in relevant positions in the ranking are presenter Serginho Groisman and goalkeeper Cássio, Corinthians idol and now Cruzeiro player, in 13th and 17th place, respectively.
