Rains that hit Juiz de Fora, Ubá and other municipalities in Zona da Mata also left hundreds of people missing and rescued in the region
Disclosure/City Hall of Matias Barbosa Matias Barbosa was one of the cities in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais hit on Monday night (23) by heavy rains.
The Minas Gerais Fire Department confirmed, this Wednesday (25), 36 deaths due to heavy rains which affected Juiz de Fora, Ubá and other municipalities in Zona da Mata.
According to the most recent balance, Juiz de Fora has the highest number of victims, with 30 deaths recorded to date. In Ubá, six deaths were confirmed.
