St. Pölten – A work foundation is being set up in Lower Austria following the bankruptcy of the Kika/Leiner furniture chain. The step is intended to ensure “optimal placement, further training and qualification for all affected employees,” said State Councilor Susanne Rosenkranz (FPÖ) on Thursday. The foundation will “offer additional support for three years” and the “targeted measure is intended to reintegrate employees into the labor market”.
