Minister also said that it is not possible to link your personal or professional agenda to meetings with Vorcaro
The office of minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), released a statement denying that he had visited the house of banker Daniel Vorcaro in Trancoso (BA). The information was published this Sunday (8) by the Lauro Jardim blog, from the newspaper O Globo.
“The Minister’s office Alexandre de Moraes informs that the published statement is completely false by Lauro Jardim’s blog, on the O Globo portal, that the Minister had visited Vorcaro’s house in Trancoso (BA). The Minister never took any private trip with Daniel Vorcaro to any destination”, says the note released by the Supreme Court’s press office.
The minister also highlighted that “never been to the property” and that it is not possible to link your personal or professional agenda to meetings with Vorcaro. “The publication of information based on non-existent factual premises, without due verification of the reality of the facts, is regretted”, he concludes.
Exchange messages with Vorcaro
Last Friday (6) the Federal Supreme Court (STF) had already denied the exchange of messages between Moraes and Vorcaro. According to technical analyzes carried out on the businessman’s telematic data, made public by the INSS CPMI, Alexandre de Moraes in the files seized from the banker.
The position, issued through the STF’s Communication Secretary, comes after the publication, also by Jornal O Globo, of an alleged exchange of messages between the minister and the banker on the day the businessman was arrested in November 2025.
“In the content extracted from the executive’s cell phone by investigators, the prints of these messages sent by Vorcaro are linked to folders of other people in his contact list and do not appear as directed to Minister Alexandre de Moraes”, says the note, adding that “the message and the respective contact are in the same folder on the computer of the person who made the prints (Vorcaro)”.
With the analyzes carried out, according to the minister’s note, it is “demonstrated that the messages (prints) are linked to other telephone contacts on Daniel Vorcaro’s computer, never to Minister Alexandre de Moraes”.
