Gladson supports Flávio Bolsonaro for President, but criticizes ‘war’ between left and right

Governor Gladson Camelí made a point of stating, during a meeting that formalized the union of Progressistas with , this Monday (9), that his pre-candidate for the presidency of Brazil is senator Flávio Bolsonaro.

Even though he criticized the Bolsonaro family on other occasions, the governor pointed out that the former president’s son is his option in 2026. On that occasion, he said that the dispute between left and right must stop in Brazil.

“It’s Flávio Bolsonaro. The criticisms I’ve always made were constructive criticisms in the sense of what? To stop this political war that was going on inside the country, left against right, because the people who are losing are the people”, stated the head of the Executive.

“During the election period, we will work so that we can discuss what is best, but in the meantime, we have to govern. You don’t know how difficult it was, at the time of those political turbulences at national level, how much it hurt us, governors”, he concluded.

About the event

This Monday, at the Progressistas headquarters, the ticket with Mailza for the Government and Gladson and Márcio Bittar for the Senate was also made official, as there will be two vacancies available in this year’s election.

In addition to PL, other parties also joined the alliance, such as União Brasil, Podemos, Solidariedade, PDT, PSDB, PRD, DC and Cidadania.
