American influencer Gwen McMullen has become a viral phenomenon, taking the Slovak and Czech internet by storm. The reason is hers physical appearance with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Although the initial comparisons to the politician offended her, instead of distancing herself from the situation, she made a decision use the sudden influx of European followers to their advantage.
It didn’t take long and she began to purposefully adapt her content to a new audience. Since Slovak began to dominate the discussions under the posts, she naturally jumped on this trend and switched to Slovak descriptions. She also adopted the title ‘Queen of Slovakia’, with which her community immediately identified.
At the end of February, she decided to directly address her new fans. She admitted that she greatly appreciates the wave of support from Europe that has recently flooded her profile. She is particularly pleased that although many people discovered her only thanks to her visual appearance with the Prime Minister, they managed to like her and follow her posts.
Recently, she got tougher and made a real recession from jokes about her appearance with the prime minister. In the video with which she greeted her loyal supporters, she published a description that seems as if she wanted to take Fic’s flak straight away.
“Slovakia is asking for a new leader, and America is sending the best and brightest,” she wrote on Instagram on Friday. Although it is clear that she is joking and wants to get likes at the same time, she is increasingly pointing out how much she would like to take over the power of our country.
