Google launches Gemini integrated with Chrome and AI training; see news

Google announced the main news aimed at the Brazilian market during the Google for Brazil event, this Wednesday (10), in São Paulo.

Among the main tools is the launch of Gemini, the company’s artificial intelligence, integrated into Chrome, the platform’s browser.

Gemini no Chrome

Now, instead of opening several tabs, users can summarize texts, compose emails and edit images directly in the browser, without having to switch tabs. The assistant should be located on the side panel of the tab.

AI training for teachers

According to the company, R$5 million will be allocated to training around 16,000 teachers in Brazilian public schools.

Teaching will focus on tools, media literacy and skills, and ethics and responsibility in agent use.

According to the head of the technology company’s innovation sector, it is important to prepare society to know how to deal with AI with an eye on the future.

“By supporting educators with training, we ensure that thousands of young Brazilians can access fundamental AI literacy that will spark their curiosity and drive Brazil’s digital economy for decades to come,” says Lila Ibrahim.
