Vienna/Innsbruck – Roland Assinger has announced that he will resign as Austria’s head coach of alpine ski racers. According to the Austrian Ski Association, the Carinthian will not extend his contract in this role; the 52-year-old rejected an offer for two more years “after much consideration.”
