The United States will send thousands of troops to the Middle East. According to officials interviewed by the New York Times, there are around 2,500 marines and three warships. A strong US military contingent arrived last night at the Lajes base, in the Azores. However, Donald Trump says he has already won the war and is considering slowing down military efforts in the Middle East. Bombs continue to fall on Tehran from the air and Iran continues to attack the Gulf countries.
