The end of chasing success? Rytmus is clear about this: he opened many people’s eyes with THIS statement

A big musical holiday is coming for all fans of Slovak rap! Patrik Vrbovský aka Rytmus will celebrate his fiftieth birthday with a spectacular show that will combine past, present and future one of the most prominent personalities of the Czechoslovak music scene. Already on December 19, 2026 at the Ondrej Nepela Stadium in Bratislava.

He said more about privacy and the RYTMUS 50 concert with the musician Teri Čikoš on Monday, March 2, during the press conference, the rapper himself. He announces that it will be more than just a concert. It will be a story – from the first steps and childhood dreams to the peak of a career that shaped generations of fans and on one stage greatest hits, iconic moments and songs that defined an era will be performed.

In connection with the concert and the upcoming jubilee, we were wondering if the rapper still has any dreams that he would like to fulfill. “I don’t have a career. I’m just playing with it. The only thing I can do now, and that’s like I would say, is that the last 10 years have been rather fun. You know that you don’t push the saw, because I’ve done everything, everything that can be done. It’s so much fun,” the rapper said.

What can fans expect from his show? “Everything must be there, but one should leave there saying that you coconut, normally he’s been here for so long, he’s still there, he’s still raising the bar and he’s still able to do it in such a way that young people learn. I don’t know if that’s very confident, but that’s how it is. That’s how I’m set. That’s my mindset,” Rytmus said without a napkin.

What means the most to him at the moment? Looking for a balance between work and family? “Everyone who goes to the stadium would be happy if it were sold out. Of course, if it’s not, I don’t mind, because I have achieved enough in my life. But for me, the most important thing is definitely family. Family happiness. I’m working on it. That career can live without it now that I’m out of it. I know that those songs are so engraved in people that even if I were to take a break for two years, three years and say that I will do a concert for you, people will come there. Or I am aware that there are people who somehow grew up with me and were somehow affected by the period that they grew up with me,” he explained.

According to him, popular music is also based on this. “When you have a period of friendship with a singer, it will be for the rest of your life. So that means that if a rapper or someone comes here, I immediately go to see it. A rapper that I grew up on, I immediately go see just because he influenced me in some way or it makes me think, wow, this is the person I grew up on.” added Patrik Rytmus Vrbovský.
