A strong explosion occurred in the village of Istebné in the Dolný Kubín district on Monday (March 23). Žilina regional police spokeswoman Zuzana Šefčíková told TASR that the police are dealing with the case and a pyrotechnician was also called to the scene from the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Žilina.
The village informed on the social network that according to the available information, an unknown person tried to damage one of the motor vehicles. There should have been no injuries. “We ask citizens to remain calm and if they have any information that could help in the investigation, contact the relevant authorities,” added the municipality.
