Caiado meets with Kassab to define PSD pre-candidacy

Governor of Goiás travels to São Paulo for breakfast with the president of the party; party wants to announce name for Planalto by Friday (27th March)

The governor of Goiás, (PSDB), travels to São Paulo this Tuesday morning (March 24, 2026) for a strategic meeting with the national president of the PSDB, . The meeting should define the direction of the party’s presidential pre-candidacy for the 2026 presidential elections.

The expectation is to consolidate the name to compete for the Planalto and announce it by Friday (27th March 2026). Caiado boards a commercial flight from Goiânia in the early hours of the morning.
