PT and PL lead the ranking of voters’ favorite parties

AtlasIntel research shows that 52.4% of respondents focus on the two acronyms; 23.7% say they do not have a preferred party

AtlasIntel survey released this Thursday (April 2, 2026) shows that and o lead the ranking of voters’ favorite parties.

According to the survey, 52.4% of respondents focused on the two acronyms, with 27% choosing PL as their main option. Already 23.7% of Brazilian voters said they do not have “none” preferred party. Here is the study (PDF – 9.26 MB).

AtlasIntel asked: “Which party do you prefer?”. Here is how the interviewees responded:

  • PL – 27%;
  • PT – 25,4%;
  • Psol – 8,3%;
  • Mission – 5,9%;
  • Novo – 3,8%;
  • PSB – 1,4%;
  • PC do B – 0,9%;
  • PDT – 0,8%;
  • Union Brazil – 0,8%;
  • PSDB – 0,5%;
  • MDB – 0,1%;
  • Can we – 0%;
  • none – 23,7%;
  • other – 1,4%.

AtlasIntel also asked: “How do you position yourself ideologically?”. Here is how the interviewees responded:

  • right – 36,6%;
  • left – 25,9%;
  • center-left – 17%;
  • center right – 8,5%;
  • center – 3,3%;
  • don’t know/have no ideology – 8,7%.

The AtlasIntel survey interviewed 4,224 people from March 16 to March 23, 2026. The margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points. The confidence level of the survey is 95%. The survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court under number BR-06058/2026. The study cost R$75,000. It was paid for with its own resources.
