Former deputy advises voters to reject candidates, including those from the PL, who do not declare public support for the senator
The former federal deputy (PL-SP) stated that the lack of support for (PL’s) candidacy favors the president (PT). The statement was published on social media, in which he advises voters to reject candidates who do not express support for the senator.
In the post, Eduardo Bolsonaro says that voters should check the positioning of their candidates before voting. “Do not vote for a candidate who does not support Flávio Bolsonaro, as this conduct only serves Lula”he wrote.
The former parliamentarian also recommends that voters discard candidates, including from the Liberal Party itself, if they do not find public expressions of support for Flávio. According to him, in addition to failing to vote, the voter must directly communicate to the candidate the reason for the decision.
The speech takes place amid political articulation for the next elections, when allies of former president Jair Bolsonaro seek to consolidate support for names from the political group in different legislative positions.
Recent surveys indicate that the electoral scenario remains competitive. A survey by the Nexus Research and Data Intelligence Institute released three days ago points to both the 1st and 2nd rounds, within the margin of error, reinforcing the perception of a fierce dispute for the Presidency.
