A scene of extreme violence shocked prison officers at the Dr. Manoel Martins Lisboa Júnior Penitentiary, on this Thursday (2). The detainee Deylon Moura Santosaged 28, was found dead and with his body dismembered on the premises of the prison unit. Parts of the victim were located by the criminal police scattered throughout the corridor, just in front of cell number 9.
Upon entering the cell, security teams came across the body without the head. According to the incident report, the victim also had her eyes and tongue cut out. Technical expertise was called and the body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in the region.
Confession and Motivation
The unit’s management identified a suspect, whose identity was not revealed. During the approach, the man allegedly laughed at the situation and confessed to the murder in detail. He told the police that he applied a “rear-naked choke” until the victim passed out, starting the dismemberment immediately afterwards.

The author stated that the crime was motivated by an old feud between the two, involving previous attacks and episodes of homophobia. After the confession, the detainee was placed in isolation and presented to the police authority to register the act of aggravated homicide.
The State Department of Justice and Public Security initiated an internal administrative procedure to investigate the circumstances of the crime and how the execution occurred without the agents noticing the movement on Wednesday (1st), the probable date of the murder.
