In an electoral resolution for Novo candidates, the party requires them to defend that of ministers of the (Supreme Federal Court).
The text provides rules of conduct for everyone who will be candidates for the party in 2026 and was published this Wednesday (8).
The article states that the Federal candidate for Novo must commit to defending the accountability of STF ministers, including supporting the opening of impeachment.
“Of ministers who have committed or will commit a crime of responsibility, abuse of authority, breach of decorum in the exercise of their office, acts of corruption or who are involved in scandals that make their continuance in office incompatible or vexatious”, says the text.
The resolution also prohibits coalitions with left-wing parties, such as , and PCdoB. According to the text, due to “ideological incompatibility”.
Novo leaders and candidates are prohibited from campaigning for null, blank or abstention votes, even if the party is not running for office.
The text also gives the National Directory the power to veto state coalitions that are incompatible with the strategic or ideological guidelines of the New.
