Fluminense takes the lead, but is upset by Independiente Rivadavia

Fluminense lost 2-1, coming from behind, to Independiente Rivadavia-ARG, this Wednesday (15), at Maracanã, in the second round of Group C of the Copa Libertadores. The defeat at home turned into a great disappointment, as the team remains without winning at international level and saw an unbeaten run of 23 international games at home fall.

Until then, the The Rio team accumulated a positive balance, with 18 wins and five draws. Their last defeat occurred on May 18, 2021, when they lost to Junior Barranquila-COl, 2-1. The team from Rio shares the bottom spot in Group C with Bolívar-BOL, both with one point and one goal from a negative balance.

The game

Then, Fernández won the dispute with Samuel Xavier and the ball ended up at the feet of Arce, who finished into the net: 2-1.
