The scene was captured at the start of the Albanian Prime Minister’s official visit to Rome, where he was received by Georgia Meloni at the Kitzi Palace. The two leaders held a one-on-one meeting, emphasizing the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, the deepening of strategic relations and addressing common issues at the regional and European level.
Development, security and Albania’s European perspective were at the center of the talks, with both sides confirming their close cooperation in critical areas.
After the meeting, Rama underlined in a post the importance of the relations between the two countries, noting that all the Italian governments of the last 35 years have been friendly to Albania, but the current government of Meloni stands out for the intensity and scope of cooperation.
“Further rapprochement with Italy through large and specific projects brings more development and security to Albania,” he said.
