Iran’s judiciary denied on Tuesday that the eight convicted women face execution. She responded to US President Donald Trump’s request for their pardon, which would allegedly increase the potential success of peace negotiations with the US. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency. “Fake News Misled Trump Again” the official website of the Iranian judiciary, Mizan, said. “Some of the women who were allegedly facing execution have already been released, while others will face the maximum prison term if convicted,” clarified.
The US president had previously said on social media that the release of these women could help Iran in negotiations. The head of the White House added to the statement the contribution of the pro-Israel youth activist from the United States, Eyal Yakoby. under which eight convicted women can be hanged.
