Pemba/Maputo – The number of victims of Cyclone Chido in Mozambique, southeast Africa, has continued to rise. At least 120 people died in the natural disaster more than a week ago, 110 of them in the Cabo Delgado province in the north of the coastal state alone, where a conflict is also raging. This emerged from data published by Mozambique’s civil protection agency on Facebook. She recently corrected the numbers upwards several times in the course of the rescue work.
