Level one warnings of ground frost have been in effect throughout Slovakia since midnight. They are issued until Monday (April 27) at 7:00 a.m. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informs about this on the website.
“At a height of five centimeters above the surface, expects to reach a minimum air temperature of zero to minus five degrees Celsius,” pointed out SHMÚ. He warns that ground frost can damage lower vegetation.
