Boulos insinuates Bolsonaro family’s connection to money laundering

In video, minister questions why the president’s family bought 51 properties in cash

The minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, (Psol), stated, without providing evidence, that the family of the former president (PL) may be related to money laundering. In a video published this Tuesday (April 28, 2026), Boulos questioned the purchase of 51 properties in cash by family members of the former Chief Executive.

“Operations with cash are constantly associated with money laundering, with illicit money. If the guy is going to steal or do a scheme, he usually won’t do it with his bank account. When someone buys a property with cash, the tendency for this to be dirty money and that the purchase of the property is money laundering is kind of obvious”he declared.
