Vienna/Luxembourg – As expected, the federal government nominated former Neos politician Gerald Loacker as an Austrian member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA) in Luxembourg on Wednesday. This is “highly suitable,” according to the minutes of the Council of Ministers. According to the coalition agreement, the Neos had the right to make proposals. Three applications for the position were received via the federal government’s electronic announcement and information platform (EVI).
