Trump releases artwork purporting to change name of immigration agency from ICE to NICE

United States President Donald Trump used his social networks last Tuesday (5) to publish art that once again suggests that the United States border and immigration enforcement agency change its acronym from ICE to NICE.

The proposed new name, which would be National Immigration and Customs Enforcement, would create an acronym that means “legal” in English. At the time of this report, the agency continues to be called United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (which stands for ICE).

On Monday (27), White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt had already indicated Trump’s enthusiasm for the change, and the government even presented a poster with the new brand hours after Trump’s publication

Despite the release of the image, there is still no official definition on the implementation of the new nomenclature.
