North Korea does not see itself as bound by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

PYONGYANG – North Korea does not see itself bound by nuclear non-proliferation treaties, state news agency KCNA reported on Thursday. The country’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Kim Song, accused the United States and some other countries of “poisoning” the atmosphere at the 11th Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty by raising the issue of North Korea’s nuclear weapons.
