Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), pre-candidate for the Presidency, took a position late this Wednesday afternoon (13) defending the owner of Banco Master, in which collects financing for the film about his father, former president Jair Bolsonaro. The conversations were revealed earlier by the website Intercept Brasil.

In a statement released to the press, Flávio defended the installation of a CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) to investigate the Master scandal. “It is necessary to separate the innocent from the criminals. In our case, what happened was a son, seeking private sponsorship for a private film about his own father’s story. Zero public money. Zero Rouanet Law”, he wrote.

The presidential candidate said he met Vorcaro in 2024, before the revelations about the bank. “When the Bolsonaro government had already ended, and when there were no accusations or public suspicions about the banker. Contact is resumed when there is a delay in paying the sponsorship installments necessary to complete the film”, he added.
